A Pearl River Rose

Ellen won her crown at last Friday’s New York Rose of Tralee gala event at the Broad Street Ballroom in Lower Manhattan.
Ellen, who is from Pearl River in Rockland County, takes over the mantle from Lisa Murtagh, last year’s New York Rose and the reigning Rose of Tralee.
Ellen will now represent the Empire State at the International Rose of Tralee Festival in Tralee, County Kerry in August.
This year’s festival, the 49th consecutive, will take place from August the 22nd to the 26th.
