Aer Lingus in Ryanair’s sights?

The Irish Times reports that an investment company owned by Ryanair chairman David Bonderman is interested in acquiring Aer Lingus. The government has yet to decide on the future of the national airline but if Bonderman’s plans come to fruition it could ultimately be owned by Texas Pacific, which also owns the Burger King chain.
