February 16, 2011

By Staff Reporter

David Quigley, a native of Camlough village, is one of the highlights of a tour called “Rising Stars.”
Quigley, 25, started playing piano at the age of 4 and trained at the Birmingham Conservatoire, before further study in Budapest.
Quigley’s current tour has been a hectic one. He will arrive in New York after performances in Amsterdam and Cologne. He will play a range of music from Beethoven, Liszt, Debussey and Dutilleux in Friday’s once-only concert, and will then perform more concert dates next week in Salzburg, Brussels and Athens.
