"God Willing," a new Irish drama, written and directed by David McLaughlin, will be presented at the Pantheon Theater through June 25. D’dalus Theatre Co. will present the premiere of Faz In Ate, a new play, written and directed by Irish playwright, Imelda O’Reilly, in which Polly dreams herself and her brother out of despair by creating an imaginary world, Faze in Ate, inhabitated by Mr. Zing, who speaks the invented language of Zing-talk. Gaelic Roots Festival
The Boston College campus will host the Celtic Roots Festival, sponsored by the Irish Studies Program, through June 24. The highlights of the week will include classroom instruction with the best Celtic traditional musicians, singers and dance teachers; daily recitals featuring Gaelic Roots faculty. On Thursday and Saturday evening, concerts will be held at the College’s Robsham Theater featuring world-class master musicians, singers and dancers. Other highlights include a music and dance cruise on Boston Harbor, Irish language classes, Irish, Cape Breton & Scottish music sessions, ceili dances, lectures, and Boston Police Gaelic Column Pipe & Drum Tattoo.
