Beal Bocht 2, Harps 1
In the shock of the season, Beal Bocht got their first win after losing all five other league games. It was Beal Bocht who took the game to the Harps. After 10 minutes, a move from Mary Touhy found Sophia Herlihy, who flicked the ball over to Jennie Rynne, who in turn put the ball into the net. Harps tried to come back with a shot from Sandra Swinburn, but the Beal Bocht defense held them. Just before halftime, Beal Bocht went forward and chipped the ball into the box. It was judged to be a hand ball. Mary McEvoy stepped up, put the keeper the wrong way, and gave Beal Bocht a 2-0 lead.
The second half was a good close encounter with Harps getting on the board on a 20-yard rocket from Alyson Kaye.

Lansdowne 3, Sean Ogs 0
Two goals from Maureen Driscoll gave leaders Lansdowne an insurmountable lead. Sean Ogs came close on a few occasions. Good moves from Julie Enright, Bernie Boyle, Stephanie Bliss led to Lansdowne’s third goal, by Sarah Pierer.
Best for Lansdowne: Julie Enright, Bernie Boyle, Fiona Ward.

Fagan’s 2, Ned Devine’s 2
This was a close encounter, as two neighbors battled it out to earn a draw. It was Fagan’s who took the lead with a pass from Helena Campion to Ann Murray, who turned the defense and scored. On 25 minutes, Ann Murray put Fagan’s ahead 2-0. On 30 minutes, Ned Devines got one back on a pass from Ann Ryan to Mags Fitzgerald, who shot and scored.
The second half was a tight affair with both defenses playing well. On 60 minutes, a free by Maire Curran found Mags Fitzgerald, who scored her second to make it 2-2.
Best for Fagans: Ann Murray, Michelle Doherty, Carbine Conway.
Fionas: Mags Fitzgerald, Ann Ryan and Michelle Simon.
Parlour Moms 1, Velocity 0
In this defensive clash of two Manhattan clubs, Parlour Moms finished on top on the strength of Karen Rice’s second-half goal.
The goal, on 55 minutes, followed some nice chances for the eventual winners. Indeed, shortly after the break Parlour Moms came close with Rice and Wendy Hollender, but impressive saves by Velocity’s stand-in goalie, Nancy Blaine, kept it scoreless. Velocity went close with a shot from Regina Nevman.
