Donal Tierney, CEO of the Dublin-headquartered company’s U.S. arm, will attend the gala event in India House on 30 April, to receive his accolade.
Family-owned Bimeda is one of Ireland’s largest animal pharmaceutical companies and represents a new breed of company signposting a way out of Ireland’s economic woes.
The Irish Echo Index 30, sponsored by KPMG, salutes 30 companies which represent the cream of companies with a transatlantic base.
A major shift in this year’s listing is the dropping of some of Ireland’s best-known banks and their replacement with smaller, high-tech companies which have experienced rapid growth in tough markets.
