Business flows north, profits go south

The Alcohol Beverage Federation of Ireland (ABFI) said off license sales in the South had already plummeted by seven percent while stores in the North were recording a 30 percent boost.
And its director, Rosemary Garth, called on the Irish government to address the high alcohol taxes which she maintains are a significant contributory factor to price differences.
