Every member of the Irish community, from clubs, organizations, businesses and individuals is encouraged to contact the committee, with at least one nomination, the committee said in a statement.
“The biggest challenge facing the New York committee is ensuring every potential rose knows they have the opportunity to win a trip to Ireland this August,” the committee added.
New York Rose, Lisa Murtagh, won the competition outright in 2007 and New York’s committee is hoping for a 2010 repeat of her success.
