Can you meet the Challenge?

Aside from crowning individual clubs victors in the one-on-one matches, individual player’s scores from the club competitions will be compiled for a country score. The overall cumulative score will then be used to declare either Ireland or the U.S. as the champion of the Emerald Challenge.

U.S.-based clubs interested in competing in the Emerald Challenge can call president Nick Johnson at (516) 255-9817. All competing golfers must have approved handicaps of 19 or lower. Co-sponsors of the event are Aer Lingus, Waterford Crystal, the Irish Tourist Board and the Northern Irish Tourist Board.
