Cavan 1-17, Na Fianna 2-10
Only 4 points separated the teams at the half of this exciting and hard-fought game. Na Fianna came out strong in the second half with some fine points from Mags Fitzgerald and Lindsay Kilmurray. But Cavan answered with Nuala Carroll and Nadine Doherty. A goal from Fitzgerald brought NaFianna within one point of Cavan. But it was only for a short period of time as Cavan quickly shot over the bar. A cross from Rosie O’Reilly was deflected and a goal scored by Nuala Carroll. NaFianna got another goal from Lyndsay Kilmurray.

Best for Cavan: Nadine Doherty.
