“There’ll be so much swordplay,” said the hunky Dubliner — between expletives — in a conversation with the Sunday World.
“I mean, [Alexander] was a hunter when he was 2 years old, killing wild boars, so there’s a bit of catching up to do.
Normally, Colin doesn’t work out for roles. (“No [bad word] way,” he said.)
But the Alex role will stretch the actor to his physical limits.
“I’ll have to put on about 20 pounds of muscle,” he said. (Note to self: buy tickets now.)
Those of you who just can’t wait to feast your eyes on foxy Farrell will want to tune in to the MTV Movie Awards on May 31. He’ll be joining Harrison Ford, Queen Latifah and Samuel L. Jackson in handing out awards in categories like “Best Kiss” and “Best Fight.” We’re thinking that he’d better be prepared for a Halle Berry/Adrian Brody-type moment if any of his winners are women.
