Colin Farrell’s night moves

The Irish actor apparently doesn’t require much sleep. Colin told Living Abroad magazine that his father once told him that he’d make a good night watchman because he could function on so little shut-eye.
“Ever since I can remember, as far back as when I was 10 or 12 years old, I never slept much,” said the actor. “But the small hours by myself are lovely moments for me — the hours between midnight and 3 in the morning.”
Colin makes good use of this “found” time.
“I listen to music, read a script — think,” he said. “Or I might cook a steak, have a couple of beers and think about the day’s work that has passed or the day’s work to come.”
The sleep thing should come in quite handy in a few months’ time, when Colin’s girlfriend, model Kim Bordenave, gives birth to their first child. The 2 a.m. feedings should be a snap for the actor, which should allow Kim to get her beauty sleep. So it’s a win-win situation all around.
