Correction

The story reporting the death of Brendan Ryan in last week’s Irish Echo erroneously reported that New York City police stated Ryan was leaving the Lansdowne bar in the Bronx when he was hit by a car after leaving his bachelor party. The police report did not state Ryan was leaving the bar when he was struck, and his formal bachelor party was held at another location.
