Derry-born Phil Coulter and Belfast native James Galway will lead a celebration of the people of Northern Ireland with their wealth of cultural and artistic talent during a special concert of music and words on this Sunday evening at 7:30 in New York City’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Net proceeds from the event, called "Both Sides Now," will go toward the Omagh relief fund.

On St. Patrick’s Day, "Both Sides Now" will be repeated at the White House for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Special guests in St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Sunday evening will include actor Gregory Peck, novelist Edna O’Brien and the Different Drums of Ireland, a five-piece musical group from Northern Ireland.

The title "Both Sides Now" comes from the personal histories of Coulter and Galway. They were raised in different traditions but have found more common ground than music alone.

The original spark for "Both Sides Now" was ignited by two benefit concerts that Coulter performed in the winter of 1997 in Northern Ireland. The concerts, one at the Creggan Community Center, in the Bogside, in Derry, followed by a second in the Shankill Community Center, in Belfast, were received with an overwhelming positive response from both Catholic and Protestant communities.
