The man who did so much to put the oomph in the Celtic Tiger and, incidentally, did a great deal in pursuit of peace with justice in Northern Ireland is now a rather lonely and pitiful figure who flits in and out of Dublin Castle in his state-supplied Mercedes.
What does one make of Charles J. Haughey?
