Communicate
In work, as in many other areas of life, a feeling of isolation can make us feel that problems are just too big to cope with. If you are feeling under too much stress at work, try to discuss the issue with a trusted colleague. The chances are that the mere fact of talking about your worries will diminish them. It is also very possible that your colleague might be experiencing some of the same difficulties. Sharing your thoughts can be the first step to action.

Expect Fairness
If you do your job diligently and professionally, you are entitled to decent treatment in the workplace. Some stress is caused by people feeling they have no option but to accept harsh or intimidatory treatment. That’s not true. There are some bad bosses and bad companies out there. If you have the misfortune to find yourself working for one of them, make plans to leave as soon as possible.
