The reception, which will be staged in conjunction with the consulate, will include the honoring of a small group of individuals and organizations representative of Irish America.
The Irish Echo first hit the streets of New York in the fall of 1928 and over the decades has expanded its reach with newsstand sales in several U.S. cities, mail subscribers in all fifty states and Canada, and, more recently, by means of an Internet web page and digital edition by which every page of the paper can be accessed anywhere in the world.
