If anyone knows Eileen Curran, they can give her some good news. There’s a man in Queens, N.Y., who has found her wallet, which contains her uncanceled credit cards.

Curran recently lost her wallet, but it was found last weekend by Sebastian Baren, owner of of a video store, Tiger Video, on Greenpoint Avenue at 42nd Street, in Sunnyside, Queens.

Baren called the Irish Echo on Monday in his effort to locate Curran. He got her name from her credit cards, but the wallet contained no phone number. He is assuming she is from Ireland because there was no local address in the wallet. Her credit cards, he said, were from Bank of Ireland.

"I just want to help the lady," Baren said, adding that if she showed up and proved her identity, she could have the wallet back.

He also added that Curran hadn’t canceled her credit cards. He knew this, he said, because he ran a 50 cent charge on one of the cards which went through.
