Familiar Irish-American tale gets Ab_ treatment

Galway-based documentary filmmaker Eileen Seoighe and three fellow crew members are currently on a month-long intensive swing through four states – Missouri, Illinois, Massachusetts and New York – and the nation’s capital to film interviews for “Road to the White House.”
The series of six half-hour programs will be broadcast initially on TG4, Ireland’s Irish-language channel, and will focus on Boss Richard Croker and Charlie Murphy of Tammany Hall, Boston’s Mayor James Curley, Gov. Al Smith, Kansas City boss Tom Pendergast, Mayor Richard J. Daley, and President John F. Kennedy.
