Fifty new companies

At almost one per week, the rate of start-ups maintains the 2002 level, despite serious fears of an economic downturn.
It seems the number of people willing to give business a shot has held up, in spite of tougher times.
Most of the companies will have Enterprise Ireland backing and will have their focus on exporting. Ireland exports 75 percent of its products.
