By Staff Reporter

As for Tipp, a win is a win is a win, especially when it comes against Cork. The need to develop a killer instinct will be item one on Liam Sheedy’s agenda before the Clare game later this month, for the should have been out of sight by half time last Sunday. They went a full 20 minutes of the second half without a score and it was only the calm head and clever positional sense of substitute Benny Dunne that got them over the line in the closing stage. Dunne’s two points from two possessions won the game and possibly even bought him a starting place for the next day.
