Culinary wizards with an Irish flare have an opportunity to show off their creative talents at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel’s fifth annual cooking contest.
Recipes must be an entree, appetizer or dessert and have Irish whiskey as an ingredient. No breads. All recipes are due by Feb. 15.
Five finalists will be selected and notified by Feb. 19 to participate in the contest cook-off on March 1 at Fitzers, the restaurant of the Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel. All contest participants must agree to the publication of their recipes.
The grand prize winner will receive a dinner prepared by Chef Willon Gibbs for eight guests in their home with beverages provided by Jameson Irish Whiskey. The winning recipe will also be featured on Fitzer’s menu for the month of March.
The second prize is a weekend for two at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel and a gift basket from Jameson. The third-prize winner will be given a dinner and movie package for two at Fitzers and a complimentary bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey.
