The boards, according to a statement, are bringing over seven craft makers to exhibit at the show at the Tipperary Stage and Moore Street Market areas of the festival.
“We are bringing to the festival bog oak, photography, preserves and jellies, handcrafted jewelry, trendy gifts you can wear, mass cards from Holy Cross Abbey, shamrock seeds and peat products, and some unique items that make for beautiful gifts.
“It is the first time that these products will be featured at an Irish festival abroad, and we believe that they are ideal as they encapsulate all that is uniquely creative about Irish hand crafts,” said Rita Guinan of the Tipperary North County Enterprise Board.
The Tipperary visitors are seeking to develop trade links with the U.S. and will be present at Irish Fest August 13-16.
Among the companies displaying their wares will be The Auld Sod Export Company (www.officialirishdirt.com) which will be displaying gift box sets incorporating handcrafted Belleek bowls with shamrock seeds and “official Irish dirt.” More details on the festival are available at www.irishfest.com.
