Joyce, 39, and two fellow firefighters, jumped or fell from a burning house Friday as they searched to make sure there was nobody trapped in the building.
The funeral of the 16-year veteran and married father of two young daughters was at St. Margaret of Cortona Church on Riverdale Avenue in the Bronx.
Massed ranks of firefighters escorted their fallen brother on his final journey.
Rafael Roldan, 33, has appeared in a Yonkers court charged with setting the blaze that also seriously injured firefighters Joe Murray and William Kanych.
Joyce is immediately survived by his wife Tara and daughters, Isabella (7) and Charlotte (6).
