Junior Football “A”Westput vs. Cavan12:30 p.m.

A strong effort saw Westput account for Down after their poor showing in their opening encounter. If they continue to improve, another two points should be forthcoming considering that the Mournemen have subsequently beaten Cavan.

Senior HurlingLimerick vs. Clare2 p.m.

After their final defeat last week, Limerick will be eager to bounce back to winning ways. They will have to show a lot more commitment if they are to do so.

Clare’s enigma remains. What way will they play on Sunday? If they can find their best form, it will be enough for an important two points.

Senior Football Div. 1Donegal vs. Tyrone3:30 p.m.

These two Ulster sides always produce a sterling encounter. Irrespective of current form the match-up always seems to be a close one.

Donegal have to be fancied to collect another two points as their fine early form continues to gain momentum.

Tyrone, going through a large transition, will have to raise their game significantly. Two defeats in two outings but with Duke Devlin continuing to rebuild this may be the fixture to bring out the best in the Red Hand county.

Senior Football Div. 2Offaly vs. Armagh5 p.m.

Offaly made the playoffs last year and are intent on doing so again this season. Its hard to see them losing on Sunday.

Women’s FootballRockland vs. Leitrim6:30 p.m.

The first appearance of the ladies at the Park but it promises to be a busy June for them there.

While Rockland have been playing well they will have their work cut out to account for a strong Leitrim lineout.
