GAA Roundup: O’Sullivan to captain Kerry

O’Sullivan inspired Pearses to a 0-9 to 0-7 win, which gave them a first ever South Kerry title, and in doing so they deprived St Mary’s of a fourth championship in succession. Coached by All-Ireland-winning manager Jack O’Connor, Pearses came back from a four-point interval deficit and not even the presence of Maurice Fitzgerald could save the day for St Mary’s.
