During a career spanning 30 years, Gallagher sold more than 20 million albums. According to Seamus Kelleher, who is producing “Songs and Stories” and is also the lead guitarist with the Philadelphia band Blackthorn, “Rory was a huge influence on many of today’s rock musicians. He was a favorite of Bob Dylan and John Lennon and recorded with blues legends Muddy Waters and Howlin Wolf. Bono called him ‘one of the top ten guitar players of all time.’ “
The show at the Bottom Line, which starts at 7:30 pm, will feature Pierce Turner, Larry Kirwan, Sean Fleming, Chris Byrne, Matt O’Ree, and others.
Tickets are $20 and are available by calling the Bottom Line box office at (212) 228-6300.
