DUBLIN — The draw for the All-Ireland football quarterfinals at Croke Park has thrown up two intriguing clashes with the All-Ireland champions of the past two seasons, Galway and Kerry, scheduled to meet on Sunday.
Galway come into the game as Connacht champions, while after losing to Cork in the provincial semifinal, Kerry had to beat Kildare in the fourth round of the qualifier series last weekend to book their place.
Leinster champions Dublin and Donegal, who defeated Meath in the qualifiers, come up against each other in a repeat of the 1992 All-Ireland decider on Monday. In the other ties, Cork take on Mayo, also on Monday, while Armagh meet surprise contenders Sligo, who knocked Tyrone out of the qualifiers, on Sunday.
All games will be played at Croke Park.
