Ronan has already made his mark in New York where he worked at the Waldorf Astoria for five and a half years.
Prior to arriving in New York, Ronan worked in England for eight years. There he was general manager at the Four Star Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire. His earlier experience was gained in Zurich, Switzerland, and in Ireland, where his career began.
“I am thrilled to welcome Garrett to the Boston Harbor Hotel team,” said general manager Paul Jacques. “We are excited to be a part of the fresh, new perspective and wealth of knowledge he brings with him.”
Ronan said he was delighted to be in Boston. “I am very excited to join such a great Bostonian landmark of hospitality, excellence, creative food and of course, home to the internationally famed Boston Wine Festival,” he said.
Ronan received his four-year hospitality diploma at Shannon College of Hotel Management in County Clare. He has volunteered his time for the charitable organizations, GOAL USA and NY Cares.
