Garry’s still the best

The driving force behind Galway’s famed Druid Theatre was named Best Director at the the Irish Times/ESB Irish Theatre Awards last week.
Hynes won the award for her work on the Druid Theatre Company’s productions of “The Good Father” by Christian O’Reilly and “Sive” by John B. Keane. The statue should look nice on her mantel, next to the Tony Award she won in 1998 for “Beauty Queen.” Hey, maybe she’ll break out some celebratory Complan.
