Green days ahead?

Institution of Engineers of Ireland president Peter Langford warned there is an urgent need for action on waste, water quality and greenhouse gas pollutants to help sustain both economies.
“Continuous economic development threatens our natural and built environment and our quality of life unless we develop and enforce environmentally sustainable policies right across the board,” he said.
