Holland reelected chairperson of N.Y. LGAA

Ann Holland was unanimously reelected chairperson of the New York Ladies GAA at the organizations annual general meeting and rules convention Sunday at the Riverdale Steakhouse.

In addition to Holland, the following officers were elected: Peter Brennan, vice chairperson; Mary Toolan, treasurer, Caroline Conway-Bogue, secretary; Pat Meade, assistant secretary; Marie Flood, Patricia Sheridan and Pauline Boylan, PROs; Kathleen Rowland, registrar, Kathleen Rowland; Peter Brennan, games coordinator; Orla Doyle, development officer; Brenda Walsh, Irish Language.

The association welcomes three new clubs, Fermanagh, Donegal and Stamford, which join Cavan, Leitrim, Mayo, Monaghan, Na Fianna and Rockland. The An Chiarrai club have disbanded.

Due to time restraints all motions in the convention were not discussed and the convention will continue on Thursday, Feb. 17, at 8 p.m. in the Riverdale Steakhouse.
