‘Horse’ of a different color

Former teen dreamboat Donny Osmond (he of the chicklet teeth and the purple socks) invited Irish boy band Westlife to take part in his TV special, “An Audience with Donny Osmond.” The Westies performed a cover of a lesser-known Osmond song, “Crazy Horses,” which made us feel kind of old, since we have the original album. (Yikes!) Personally, we’d have preferred something a little more dangerous — like the raunchy “One Bad Apple [Don’t Spoil the Whole Bunch]” or the edgy “[Yes, They Call It] Puppy Love.” But each to his own, we suppose.
