This popular UK reality series takes a roster of B-list celebrities, plops them in the middle of nowhere, and then records their every whine, whinge and whimper as they scramble to see who will emerge victorious.
Kerry McFadden?s fellow castaways included former Sex Pistol Johnny Lydon (nee Rotten) and such other stellar names as Peter (who?) Andre and 36FF lingerie model Jordan. Kerry outplayed, outwitted, and outdisgusting-thing-scarfed her way to the title ?Queen of the Jungle.? Bryan?s set his sights on being crowned king, which should make for many fun nights of ?Me Tarzan, You Jane!? around the McFadden hearth.
Hoping to wrestle the crown away from Bryan could be diminutive ?80s pop star Adam Ant, who has also been approached to take part in the series. One can only imagine the jungle hijinks that could take place! Producers will no doubt arrange a sing-off: Ant?s ?Goody Two Shoes? vs. Bryan?s cover of ?Mandy?? ?Stand and Deliver? vs. Bryan?s ?Bop Bop Baby?? Oy. The eight months until filming begins can?t pass soon enough for me.
And there?s more Bryan news! In between taking the children to play dates, the singer has been following in the footsteps of creaky oul? Boyzone alum Ronan Keating — at one time, the co-manager of Westlife — and mentoring his own merry band of pop stars. Bryan manages the career of Franklin, South Africa?s version of — or is that, answer to? — Westlife. According to London?s Daily Mirror, he?s splitting his time between writing songs for them, and making plans for his own solo career. That is, when he?s not spending loads of quality time with the wife and kids. Is it any wonder he didn?t have time for Westlife?
