Five Northern Irish firms have managed to get into the Deloitte & Touche listing, which is an extension of the Fast 50 charts that highlight the fastest growing companies in individual countries.
The Fast 500 charts the three-year average revenue growth of each technology company between 1999 and 2001.
The overall Euro list also includes high flyers from Israel, Russia and South Africa.
The highest ranked Ulster firm was Derry-based Data Warehousing Practice, 46th with 975 percent. It finished second in Ireland this year.
“Although the technology sector has been severely challenged by a major economic slowdown, all of the companies in Ireland who have secured a position on the new ranking have achieved a major accomplishment,” said Tom Keenan, partner with the accounting firm Deloitte and Touche in Belfast.
“I congratulate these high-tech growth leaders and their remarkable vision, innovation and successful business strategies.”
