Irish are top movie goers

Irish people went to an average of 4.2 films in 2001, the survey by EU statistics office, Eurostat, reported.
Spain came second in the survey with 3.6 cinema visits per person. Greece and Finland lagged at the end with just 1.3 per citizen.
France watched the fewest Hollywood imports and had the largest percentage of profit from domestic films.
In the U.S. the average number of movie visits per year per citizen is 5.4.
