Following the election, Grant Lally remains a national co-chair of the group while joining him in the same post will be the founding chairman National of IAR’s New York chapter, Jeff Cleary.
Cleary, former Pataki administration official, replaces J. Brian McCarthy in the post.
Jack Irwin, also a former Pataki staff member, will remain as vice-chair.
The new president of the IAR is Kevin Hanratty; executive director is Mary Mahon; the vice president for finance is John Fleming while the vice president and treasurer is Patrick Crotty.
“I am very excited about the team we have in place” said Jeff Cleary.
“We have got smart, resourceful and experienced political people, who are ready to lead us into the mid-term elections. While the rebuilding of our party continues, I am very confident in the abilities of our new leadership structure” Cleary said.
The main guests at tonight’s reception will be GOP national committee member Jennifer Saul and Raymond Martinez
former Chief of Protocol of the United States of America.
The event is set for O’Neill’s on 3rd Avenue from 6 to 8 p.m.
