The rally is set for 8 to 11 p.m. at the Barclay, 112 Fifth Avenue in Belmar.
Caroline Kennedy, former New Jersey governor Brendan Byrne, and Stella O’Leary, executive director of Irish American Democrats, are the guest speakers. Assemblyman Tom Giblin will serve as master of ceremonies.
Gov. Corzine is in a tough three way battle to retain office, his main rival being Republican Chris Christie.
Irish Americans for Corzine was now over 1,000 strong, said Assemblyman Joe Cryan, chairman of the group.
“We continue to grow and thrive. We endorse him (Corzine) for governor,” Cryan added.
The Bantry Boys, from Bayonne, will play traditional Irish music along with bagpipers and other special musical guests, according to a release detailing the rally.
The event is free and open to the public. Details at (732)359-6550 or www.njdems.org/irish.
