Twenty four hours after leading Manchester United to their fifth Premiership title in seven years, Roy Keane was behind bars.
Keane was arrested in a Manchester wine bar at 9:30 p.m. on Monday after allegedly kicking a woman. He was held overnight in police custody.
The Corkman is due to captain United in next Saturday’s FA Cup Final against Newcastle United at Wembley.
Keane denies the charge and is due to report to Manchester police again on July 13.
