Na Fianna ladies proved to be too strong for the Donegal lassies in the weekend quarterfinal game at Paddy’s Field.
Na Fianna were very happy with their performance yesterday afternoon when they pulled out all the stops to beat the Donegal team that had won the Peter Connaughton final the week before. In this game they just were not up for the challenges provided by Molly O’Keefe, Tina Dingler and Mary Casey.
Both teams played very hard but in the end it was talented players like Ciria Ferry, Sheila Farrell, Jo Donlon and Ann Ryan O’Flynn whose stamina brought their team one step closer to the Sean Faherty Final.
Player of the game for Na Fianna was Sheila Farrell, while player of the game for Donegal was Jenny Harvey.

The Sean Faherty Semifinal will be held at Rockland Field on Sunday. Mayo will confront Monaghan at 11 a.m., and Cavan will square off against Na Fianna at 12:30 p.m.
