Patricia M. Hynes is Senior Counsel at Allen & Overy LLP. Recently named by the U.S. National Law Journal as one of the “50 Most Influential Women Lawyers in America,” and one of the “50 Top Women Litigators in the U.S.,” Hynes became the President of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York in May 2008. The New York City Bar, founded in 1870, has 23,000 members making it the oldest and largest Bar Association in New York.
Hynes is a trial lawyer specializing in complex securities, commercial and criminal matters. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, she has been included in the list of Best Lawyers in America since 1993.
Hynes lives in New York City with her husband, Roy L. Reardon, Esq., a senior partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
