Wing Gary Brown ran in three, James Norton added two more and international Denis Hickie rounded off the winners’ most convincing performance of the season to date.
Ulster, however, slumped to a second success home defeat when they were comprehensively beaten 37-24 by the Welsh Ospreys at Ravenhill. Ahead 14-0 at the interval following tries by Bryn Cunningham and Kevin Maggs, Ulster turned to face a stiff breeze, but their defense was simply not up to the task as the Ospreys poured through for four tries with their out half Gavin Henson kicking 17 points.
It was also a disappointing weekend for Connacht who lost heavily away to Cardiff. If finished 31-6 in the Welsh team’s favor with Paul Warwick managing just two penalties for Connacht.
