LGAA Roundup Kerry women rout Fermanagh; Monaghan, Cavan prevail

February 16, 2011

By Staff Reporter

The one-sided nature of the New York Ladies GAA season continued in Rockland at the weekend with both Kerry and Cavan bulldozing much weaker opposition to one side. Cavan, who have won the last seven championships on the trot, remain the main contenders again this year and are on course to retaining their pulpit position. Mayo, who are back in action on Sunday against Rockland, have lost some quality players of late and their panel isn’t a healthy as it was at this stage last year. The team making most headlines of late is the Kerry ladies, who once again put in a polished performance against Fermanagh last Sunday.
