The Mammo Van, which houses mammography equipment and professionally trained nurses, is for women over 40 who have not had a mammogram in the last year and women under 40 who have a doctor’s note.
The Aisling Community Center, working in cooperation with the Women’s Outreach Network and the Italian Women’s Cancer Foundation, are delighted to welcome the Mammo van back for the third time this year.
“We’ll have screened 100 women by the time this year’s up,” according to Patricia Grogan, Executive director of the Aisling Center.
“Hopefully next year we’ll screen even more.”

The Mammo Van is also scheduled to make three stops at the Aisling Center throughout 2006.
