Master music from the Smyth sisters

They have won more than 40 All-Ireland titles between them and graced Flatley’s “Lord of the Dance ” and “Feet of Flames” for several years.
In 1993 they played fiddles on a pair of reels for “The Blue Fiddle,” the solo debut by their brother Se_n, founding member of L_nasa. In 2002 Breda issued her own solo debut, “Basil and Thyme,” which blended traditional and exotic/contemporary rhythms. An original featured fiddler for “Lord of the Dance,” Cora made quite an impression in that show with fiddler Mairead Nesbitt in a duet entitled “Strings of Fire.”
Besides music, the two sisters, like brother Se_n, are medical doctors, and Breda adds the roles of wife (percussionist Jim Higgins is her husband), mother, and TV presenter for RT
