A garda told the court that on Nov. 3 she saw Larin cycling along the street. He was drunk and fell off the bike. He then remounted on the wrong side of the road and was swaying in front of oncoming traffic. He then urinated at the side of the street. Garda McMorrow arrested him and upon making enquiries found that he was working in a laundry in Ballinrobe and did not have a work permit.
His attorney said her client would be applying for political asylum.
