McMahon’s hat trick ignites Sean Ogs

Sean Ogs’ Germania Enriquez scored first off an assist from teammate Deirdre O’Sullivan. But it was Elaine McMahon who stole the show with her first goal ever for Sean Og’s, then turned in a hat trick. McMahon’s first goal came off a through ball from Mary O’Rourke. The O’Rourke-McMahon duo were also able to put another play together for the third goal. The other Sean Og’s fourth goal and McMahon’s hat trick was off an assist from Linda Gunder.

Lansdowne 2, Parlour Moms 0
Lansdowne was first on the board with a goal from Stephanie Bliss off an assist from Stephanie McGrail. Parlour Moms’ Lisa Moore had an aggressive offensive first half but was unable to turn opportunity into a goal. Parlour Moms’ keeper, Maggie Bradley Cooke, had a great defensive game. For Lansdowne’s second goal, Stephanie Bliss, from the defensive side of the field, hit McGrail with a clean pass. Bliss then took off to the corner flag, outrunning a handful of Parlour Moms’ players. McGrail was able to reach Bliss off a long on sides pass, Bliss crossed the ball to the mouth of the goal, finding McGrail in perfect position for a goal.

Beal Bocht 5, Harps 0
Once again Harps sweeper Teresa Brink and keeper Gina Page played a strong game but it was Beal Bocht who was able to capitalize and retain first place. In the first half, Beal Bocht’s Janine Rynne scored off a pass from Pauline Devlin. Janine Rynne returned the favor with a pass to Pauline Devlin for the second goal. In the second half, defensive player Mary McEvoy made some fantastic offensive runs that allowed her the opportunity to score off a pass from Mary Toughey. Beal Bocht’s fourth goal was another from Pauline Devline off another assist from Mary Toughey. The fifth goal was another one from Mary McEvoy outside the box.

Ned Devine’s 2, Velocity 0
Ned Devine’s played shorthanded but still pulled out the victory. Velocity’s keeper, Kim Hilbrect, and sweeper Diana Ursini had their hands full with Ned Devine’s consistent attack. Mags Ryan scored off an assist from Louisa Granger, while erin Tracey converted off a corner kick.
