Junior B Semifinal
Astoria vs. Kerry
Astoria set the division alight last year, waltzing to the final where they were defeated by an unfancied Sligo side. The Astorians will be out to reclaim what they no doubt feel is rightfully theirs this time around.
There is, however, a natural buzz around all that is Kerry at the moment. With their counterparts across the water having made it to the All Ireland final, and the senior team in New York pushing for back to back championships, the junior side from New York will hope to become part of a trio of successes for the Kingdom.

With Liam Hartnett in sparkling form for the Kerry men, Astoria will have to be on their guard.
This is sure to be an exciting game either way, and one would be mad to attempt to pick a winner from these two talented sides.

Senior Hurling
Tipperary vs. Clare
On paper, this one seems to be something of a formality. Clare are having a disastrous time of it this year, having lost all four of their games to date.
Tipperary, on the other hand, are something of a form team at the moment. Having won four out of five matches so far, the reigning champions are out to clinch their second successive title.
Senior hurling has been something of an open affair this year, with Waterford surprising many people with their exciting play. Kilkenny having turned the corner following last year’s bad run of form, and then of course there’s Limerick.
Tipperary will be hands down favorites for this contest, and the Bannermen will need to go into the game with all guns blazing if they are to prevent Tipp from grabbing yet another victory.

Senior Football Division 1
Tyrone vs. Stamford
A battle of the contenders. Whereas all eyes have been on reigning champions Kerry and last year’s nearly men Donegal, the two sides on display here have been quietly getting the results together in their quest to reach the senior football playoffs.
Lying in joint third place in the table, with identical records, these two sides appear to be well matched on paper. Duke Devlin’s Tyrone men will perhaps be slight favorites, although it’s never wise to bet against Stamford, the dark horses for the championship. There will be quite an amount of talent on display here, and it’s sure to be a game that will go down to the wire.
