Senior Hurling Final
Limerick vs Tipperary
For the third year in a row, Tipp and Limerick, the two strongest sides in New York hurling, come face to face in the final game of the season, having ousted all the other sides from the competition.
Although Limerick clinched the crown in 1998, their rivals gained revenge last year when they took the trophy home. It’s sure to be a phenomenal game, with the likes of Tom and Davie Simms in action for Limerick, and the likes of Kevin and Mike Kennedy for Tipperary.

FBD Final
Mayo (Ireland) vs New York
New York will be all set to go "heavy on the Mayo" as the visiting side from Connaught travel across the Atlantic to contest the eagerly anticipated FBD Final.
New York’s last outing was two weeks ago when they defeated a top notch Bank of Ireland side, and the selectors and players alike must be relishing the chance of playing versus an inter county side. Hopefully, the home side will be at full strength, unlike during their last outing when a number of players were still involved in the senior season here, and perhaps did not want to risk getting injured before crucial club games.
Mayo are rumored to be bringing over a full strength squad in what is sure to be a classic encounter, and one which, if New York can line their best 15 out, will certainly give us an idea about how the Big Apple lads will work out in future inter county games.
