The cause of death was a brain aneurysm. The singer, who recently appeared onstage Off-Broadway in the musical “Love, Janice,” failed to seek medical treatment, although she reportedly suffered from constant headaches in the two weeks before her death.
Among the things Andy Rooney hates is being ambushed in a spoof interview. Just ask British comedian Ali G, who recently rattled the “60 Minutes” star’s cage to the point where he was thrown out of the newsman’s office. Rooney lost the rag when Ali G accused him of racism for constantly correcting his grammar. (Wicked.)
Those of you who believed the Spice Girls when they warbled, “Friendship never ennnnds,” are in for a rude awakening. It does. Just ask former Scary Spice Mel B.
The singer, who is currently enjoying a comeback as the star of “Rent” on Broadway, is planning a big New Year’s Eve bash at her house in California. But while she’s planning to “Spice” up the party with Baby and Sporty, she’s chosen not to go Posh — and she’s passing on the Ginger. Guests will have to content themselves with the planned ice statue decorations and the live jazz band.
